Delay in the next “Red Letter Day” (but it will come!): :-( 22

Many of you asked about July 17th being the next “Red Letter Day” and getting our legal saga behind us. Well, not quite true 🙁 We’re feeling good about our particular legal position (and importantly have recovered our equipment), but the defendants are throwing out claims right and left, and we need to deal with each. Thus it is back to the courtroom and judges trying to persevere. We’ll keep you posted! Thanks as always for being fans. Ted Leavitt

Forgive me if I am unaware of some of the steps you have taken, but have you thought of/tried something like a Go Fund Me campaign to raise needed capital?

There are lots of people out there (including myself!) Who would gladly contribute toward getting your business up and running again.

I long for your product! There is nothing on the market that even comes close to the RyKrisp taste and quality I remember.

Catherine – Thanks for the interest. As yet, we haven’t gone that way, and many have mentioned. One reason is that we are structured as an LLC and limited to 100 shareholders that way. We might try something “in kind” when we’re ready to get up and running and want a kick start. Ideas always appreciated and we’ll keep you posted here. Ted

Have been looking for RYKRISP and wondering what happened. There most decidedly is nothing like it!!
NOW I know and am happy to know it will eventually be available. Keep up the good fight!!

Really miss RYKRISP crackers! There must be something that can be done to get you up and running? I continue to look on store shelves hoping to find them

Unfortunately, we won’t get back on the shelves until we prevail in court. We’re optimistic but there is nothing swift about the legal system. It’s not quite as fast as the law on television 🙂 Thanks, Ted Leavitt

So sorry for all your troubles. Do appreciate everything you are doing to get the product back on the shelves.
    Thanks for the updates.

I love RYKRISP better than any other Rye product on the market and I hope to see it back on my neighborhood shelf soon. RYKRISP was my staple when I was pregnant with my daughter 49 years ago. I was able to keep from gaining much weight and had a much easier delivery. I just loved the taste.
I hope you come back soon.

Brenda – To get the full account, I’d read the updates, but it is a legal issue arising from a business issue. We needed to move production, and the contract manufacturer “seized” some equipment over bills they thought they were owed. We have sued and won one of the preliminary rounds, but need to win them all to get back in production. It is a total pain…never recommend a lawsuit to anyone, but you have to do what you have to do sometimes. Thanks for sticking with us! Ted Leavitt

I’ve truly missed the wonderful taste and crunch of RyKrisp! I became a fan in the 60s and have found nothing to compare. And I’ve tried quite a few.

Being distinctive is the thing that will keep us around. We weren’t experts before getting in this, but no one else has the texture and taste of RyKrisp. All the best, Ted

We haven’t forgotten everyone. It’s just that the wheels of justice turn so slowly. We’re trying to get to the stage of having a decision made, but there seem to be many ways in which a party can slow down the process. We trying our best to speed it up. Thanks for your patience. All the best, Ted Leavitt
